Welcome to my website. My name is Mrs. Anguiano (pronounced Aun gee aun o).  I teach 6th - 12th grade Mathematics - All Levels - and Social Skills at Right Turn Discipline Center. I will be following the Burleson District  Scope and Sequence.  I am in contact with your child's home campus teacher to help make sure your child stays on tract with his/her educational progress.  My goal is that your child will be on target with his/her home campus math class. This will help with the transition back to their home campus.

I love teaching math.  My favorite saying when it comes to math is...."Math does not have to be hard".  I am certified in Mathematics and Physical Education for grades 6th - 12th.  As long as the students do their best each day, they will be successful in my class.  My job is to help my students understand what it is they are suppose to know to be successful not just at RTDC, but when they go back to their home campus.

I will be updating my website throughout the year so you can see helpful sites where you can go to find extra help for your student.

I recommend memorizing the basic math facts which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squares 1-30, and Equivalent Fractions/Decimals/Percents for halves through tenths - not counting sevenths.  I have websites as well as a worksheets and some answer keys available in the "Helpful Links" section. If you need extra help or want to play a math game, click on the "Helpful Links" and you can choose a website. .

My classroom norms are as follows....

    *Always be your best
    *Be on task
*Raise your hand if you have a question
    *Wait patiently
    *Respect others and property

My Planning Period is from 10:37 a.m. - 11:24 a.m.

My lunch is from 11:59 a.m. - 12:29 p.m.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call the school @ (817) 245 - 0500.  I will get back with you as soon as I possible.
