2015-2016 School Year:
I will be serving both Brock and Clinkscale Elementary during the 2015-2016 school year.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. Your student's success is our top priority.
The side navigation bar of this website introduces our BISD dyslexia team and has valuable information about dyslexia and how we can better serve our students; take a minute and look at some of these important links. The best way to contact me is by email:  twarren@bisdmail.net

About me:
I have been teaching for 26 years.  My background is varied, but I have spent the last 15 years teaching language arts at the middle and elementary school level.  I come from a family of teachers; my dad, mom, uncle, aunt, grandmother, and sisters-in-law were or are still teachers.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Greg, for 34 years.  I have two sons, Brice 24, and Grant, 27. Grant is a data analyst for Bell Helicopter and is married to our daughter-in-love, Kelly.  Brice is a mechanical engineer for Bell Helicopter and is engaged to our future daughter-in-love, Katie. Another Warren wedding is happening on June 18 in Austin!  Our miniature schnauzer, Stuart, is really the boss at our house! He gets anything he wants. I am very interested in overseas missions, especially in China.  I have traveled to China 3 times to do a teaching conference for Tibetan teachers and am hoping to go back again in the near future.

Drinks:  Starbucks pumpkin spice latte or vanilla Coke
Books:  Too many to list, but some of my favorites are:  The Ragamuffin Gospel, The Help, The Shoemaker's Wife, The Hiding Place, Tuck Everlasting, and Number the Stars
Food:  Uncle Julio's chips and salsa
Color:  lime green
Quote:  "Don't be afraid of failure; be afraid of succeeding in things that don't really matter."

This You-Tube video demonstrates the struggles and frustrations of dyslexia;
 however, it also shows Piper's triumph and perseverance!
