Consumer Affairs International Scholarship Programme

Description:      The Consumer Affairs International Scholarship programme is designed to facilitate the immersion of international students into the UK educational system. A scholarship of £1000 will be provided bi-annually in December and April to the winner of the essay contest to assist with the costs of studying abroad. Consumer Affairs encourages international students with an avid interest in public policy, finance, or economics to apply.

ItaliaRail Study Abroad Scholarship

Description:      ItaliaRail strongly believes that world experience is a vital component to a complete education. We are continuing to encourage students studying abroad in Italy to apply for this prestigious award. Once again, two recipients will be chosen and each will receive $1,000 to be used for expenses related to their academic experience in Italy.

Boren Scholarship for Graduate Students

Description:        Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 to U.S. graduate students to add an important international and language component to their graduate education through specialization in area study, language study, or increased language proficiency. Boren Fellowships support study and research in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Scholar Abroad Scholarship

Description:       Studying abroad has become more than just a way to learn a language. Modern studies suggest college students need more international and cultural knowledge to successfully adapt to society post-college: having an international background is an important tool socially, professionally and educationally. NSCS proudly offers scholarship funding to help expand our members' horizons. One $5,000 scholarship is awarded each fall and spring semester and one $2,500 scholarship is awarded for the summer term.

Description:       STA Travel Inc. is a global travel specialist with 30 years experience helping students, teachers and young professionals travel the world. STA Travel offers a unique range of products with exclusive discounts on airfare, accommodations, tours, rail passes and more. If you are chosen as a recipient of this award, you will be required to blog during your time aboard. Detailed requirements for the blog will be provided to you upon notification of the award. You will also be asked to submit a final report outlining the importance of study abroad. Benjamin A. Gilman Int’l Scholarship Program

Description:       The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies abroad. Such international study is intended to better prepare U.S. students to assume significant roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world. The program aims to encourage students to choose non-traditional study abroad destinations, especially those outside of Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The Gilman Scholarship Program aims to support students who have been traditionally under-represented in study abroad, including but not limited to, students with high financial need, community college students, students in under-represented fields such as the sciences and engineering, students with diverse ethnic backgrounds, and students with disabilities.
