The CSIDG is a network of Christian Statisticians
Purpose Statement
To promote interaction and fellowship among Christian statisticians.
To articulate the relevance of the Christian faith and world view within the statistical community.
To encourage Christian statisticians to become more articulate in sharing godly principles and Christ-centered lifestyle.
To encourage Christians in Statistics to explore the relationship of their faith to their discipline
What Do We Do?
Our primary activity is the annual meeting at the Joint Statistical Meetings, for the purpose of fellowship and networking. During the year we have a list-serve where members can interact exchange ideas. Annual newsletters contain inspiring news and articles, which are housed on the website.
What Do We Believe?
Everyone – believer, seeker, or skeptic – is welcome to attend CSIDG meetings at the Joint Statistical Meetings. However, as a group designed to reflect the glory and preeminence of Jesus Christ, we adhere to the following:
God is the creator and faithful sustainer of His creation.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, and through His atonement is the mediator between God and man.
The Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, the Christians authoritative guide for faith and conduct.
