This page is devoted to investigating Binghamton University's practices of food, waste reduction and recycling. We investigate Binghamton's food procurement practices, composting facilities, and recycling abilities. Most food on campus is provided through Sodexo, though there are some independent student run groups on campus as well. We also investigate possible models for better practices from other schools. The topics researched included Composting, Waste Diversion and Source Reduction, Dishware and Ecofriendly Incentives, Locally Grown and Produced Food, and Organically and Sustainably Produced products.
