1.  In your BMail account, click on Settings -- Forwarding and POP/IMAP  and make sure IMAP is enabled in BMail settings

2. In Thunderbird, Click on Tools - then Account Settings.

3. Click Add Account

4. Select Email Account, Click Next

5. Enter Information
Your Name: First and Last Name
Email Address:

Click Next

6. Select IMAP server type.

Incoming Server:

Click Next

7. Enter your User Name:

Click Next

8. Give your Account a Name.
Your email address is fine.

Click Next.

Verify Server Settings are Correct

9. Click on Server Settings
Make sure these are set
Server Name:
Port: 993
User Name:

Make sure SSL is selected under Security Settings.

Click OK

10. Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Select the account and click edit

Make sure the server information is:
Server Name:
Port: 587
User Name:
Use secure Connection: Check TLS

Click OK

Your account should be setup. It may ask you to enter your BMail password again before setting up your folders and connecting to Google's servers to get your email.
