Creatively capture movement frozen in time by using a fast shutter speed. A successful image will:
Be shot with a fast shutter speed
Be sharply focused
Be taken in an area with plenty of light
Have an interesting composition
Be thoughtfully edited
Instructions
Assignment #1:
Put your camera MODE dial on TV (time value)
Use an appropriate ISO (how sensitive the camera is to light)
In the classroom it was typically 1600
Use a fast enough shutter speed to STOP/FREEZE movement .
In the classroom it was 1/400 to stop the water splash
Assignment #2: Freeze Action on your own
Shoot a series of action using DIFFERENT SHUTTER SPEEDS to see the difference.
You will turn in TWO photographs of the same activity with 2 different shutter speeds.
