Testing Servers

Description of the Service
The NWEA testing servers are running in the high availability virtual environment and the testing servers are split by buildings and grade levels to accommodate the high load on these servers in a short period of time.  The servers host the tests and student data in a client based environment for 3500-4000 students.

The MCA II/III  and GRAD Test proxy servers are being hosted on the high availability virtual environment and there are multiple testing servers being run per site.  These proxy servers need to be configured through clients on end user machines.  Caching of the test needs to be completed 24 hours before the test is administered.

Definition and Priority of Service
The test servers have a unique priority as they are highly critical for short periods of time.  The MCA Proxy servers are a primary service for the district and need to be considered very high priority during the test windows or times.  The NWEA servers are a secondary service that provides several windows.
