I want to thank you for spending your afternoon and engaging in the
conversation to begin this process. I just want to recap a couple of
things and we can discuss these more when your small team meet to work
on the individual service level agreements.
Thanks again for diving into this project. I think the outcome will be a
very healthy one for the district and these services impact teaching
and learning so it is an important conversation. Watch for an email or
appointment from Pam Correll for time(s) in January, February, or March
to continue this work.
- This process is being used to clarify priorities, focus efforts
and resources, and set targets for technology based services we
currently support. The change process will define how new services are
implemented and SLA's are being developed for end user support. Those conversations are taking place, but we needed to start with making sure the infrastructure SLA was in place first.
- The end product will be a collaborative agreement that the small
group develops and the large group reviews documenting and defining a
SLA for each technology based service that TIS supports.
- It is really important to us that stakeholders are involved and
have input in this process since you are using the services and
understand the impact.
- It is tough to set priorities and targets without having context.
That is why we wanted the whole group to come together first before
beginning to look at individual services. We can have further
discussion in the small groups about how all of the pieces fit together.
