Benton Community Middle School Staff

It's hard to believe that we have been here a week already.  Our students and staff are working together to make sure our learning environment is a positive and safe place to learn together.

We had over 500 people attend the iPad rollout night on August 15, 2013.  In the first week of school, students have made iMovies, posted on Edmoto, taken music quizzes, created spreadsheets to record achievement data, sent a completed assignment via Notability, found a way to use the iPad as an assignment book, used their school assigned email and used QR codes as bell ringers and as hall passes.

Remember, it is imperative that the communication between home and school is consistent and informative.  Anytime you have questions, comments, concerns or good news to share, we encourage you to call, email or stop by.

The collaboration of the staff and families has been and will continue to be a key to the success of infusing technology into our students academic day here at BCMS, which includes the iPad.

Our staff is excited to have your students here and look forward to learning with and from them.  We had students sharing with us the first days of school that they took screen shots of their schedules so they didn’t need to have a paper copy to remember which class they were headed to — this is a great way to utilize the technology that is in the student’s hands.

It’s a great time to be a Bobcat and we thank you for your support.
