Brett Lubarsky
TBE Youth Team Coordinator, Education Technology Specialist

Brett has been working in the field of Jewish education for the past twelve years, and has held a variety of part-time and full-time roles at Temple Beth Elohim since 2004.  He is currently studying Jewish Education at Hebrew College in Newton, Massachusetts.  Brett has taught and worked extensively with Jewish youth at congregations and organizations throughout the country, and regularly teaches, consults and leads workshops related to youth programming, leadership development, technology and education.  Brett coordinates TBE's Youth Team and programs, and loves spending time with BELY members at NFTY-NE events.  A lifelong camper at heart, Brett has spent his summers at Camp Bauercrest, NFTY in Israel, URJ Eisner Camp, Brandeis University and with the JCC Maccabi Games.

Ariel Milan-Polisar
Chaverim Advisor, Limud Faculty

Ariel Milan-Polisar has been involved in Jewish leadership positions since they've been available to her.  At her home congregation in New York she was a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant for 7 years and was on youth group board for 3 years.  She has extensive experience leading programs and services throughout her NFTY career culminating is being a regional board member her senior year.  Growing up at URJ Eisner Camp since she was 10 year old, she has gone on NFTY in Israel with Eisner, participating in their Machon (CIT) program and has been a counselor there for the past two summers.  Ariel is currently a sophomore at Brandeis University, majoring in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies.  She teaches 3rd grade Limud and is the Chaverim (2nd and 3rd grade) advisor here at TBE.  This is her first year at TBE and she is really excited to be getting to know this passionate and dynamic community!

Hannah Richman, Youth Educator

Hannah hails from Western Pennsylvania, where she cheered on the Steelers and lived it up in NFTY-NEL. After highschool, Hannah spent a year volunteering and studying in Jerusalem Israel followed by four fantastic years at Brandeis University, where she studied Painting and Sociology. Today, Hannah enjoys living in Somerville, cooking, art, traveling, watching football, yoga, and working as a Youth Educator at TBE. Hannah works with Maasim Tovim, "It's a Girl Thing," and teaching a number of chavurot in our Havayah learning program.

Michelle Zaff
Chalutzim Advisor, Limud and Gan Elohim Faculty

Michelle Zaff has been leading the K & 1st grade youth group at TBE for the past three years and has been teaching kindergarten Limud for the past three years as well.  She is also an attorney with an estate planning law firm and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and playing tennis when she is not dancing, singing and doing arts and crafts with your children.  She welcomes and encourages parent involvement at the youth group events and knows that your kids will have enriching experiences this year at the junior youth group events.
