Key Priorities 2019

  • To ensure all children are receiving a broad, enriching and highly motivating curriculum
  • To continue to adapt the curriculum to ensure engagement of all groups
  • To develop the planning and teaching of English
  • To improve the teaching of maths through the ongoing incorporation of the Inspire Maths Mastery approach
  • To develop the use of the outdoor area, including incorporating elements of  Forest School in KS1
  • To continue to focus on groups – PP, SEN, disadvantaged, BAME  – looking at teaching and learning styles that better meet their needs, raise engagement and build confidence
  • To raise the number of children gaining GDS writing at the end of KS1
  • To raise school attendance to 96% and reduce persistent absenteeism
