Student Registration

The Bedford School District utilizes an online student registration and student data validation system for all new and returning student registrations.  The system is a secure and green process, which allows the district to quickly obtain up to date information on your child. The online system will be used for all new and returning student registrations for student demographic, emergency and medical information and allow you to update that information prior to the start of the new school year. The system will also allow you to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies such as the Technology Responsible Use Policy, School Handbooks and PowerSchool Parent Portal.  This online process replaces all the hard copy student registration and permission forms used in previous years.

Please click the link below to begin the registration process for your child. You should have received an email or letter with a snapcode for your child as well as step-by-step instructions for creating your account and proceeding through the on-line forms. If you have used the online registration system previously, there is no need to create a new account. You should use the same account for this school year. The email will contain a link that when clicked on, will bring you directly into the Registration system thus bypassing the need to click the link below and enter the unique snap code to begin the registration process.  If you have not received a letter or email, please contact the school. You must register your child at your child’s school first in order to receive the follow-up email.

Please note that fields marked with a required box must be completed. You will be able to save your information and return at a later time for submission if necessary. Your child's registration will not be considered complete until the on-line registration form is submitted and other required forms are received by the school.

Additional Information for New Student Registrations

You must register your child at your child’s school prior to the online registration process.  In addition to submission of the electronic form, the following items must be received by your child’s school in order for your child’s registration to be considered complete.

  • Student registrations are accepted during normal school office hours.
  • A Birth certificate for the student must be presented. Parents must complete the Bedford Residency Affidavit and will be asked to provide (2) Proofs of Residency for the Town of Bedford from the following list: 1) Purchase/Lease Agreement indicating legal residence and landlord’s address and telephone number, 2) utility bills indicating legal residence, 3) Rent receipt indicating legal residence and landlord’s address and telephone number, 4) Documentation of home ownership in the Town of Bedford, 5) Court Placement and 6)Social Services Papers (eg. AFDC, Social Security).
  • Up-to-Date Immunization Records
  • Parents must provide documentation of a physical exam, by a health care provider, dated within one year of the student's starting date in the Bedford School District.
