The Bedford School District implemented a 1-to-1 Chromebook Program beginning in the fall of 2015. All students in grades 7 thru 12 are required to have a chromebook device for use a school. This program has enabled tremendous opportunities for our students and teachers to improve teaching and learning.

Parents have two options to purchase a Chromebook:
  • Purchase a Chromebook yourself.
  • Purchase a Chromebook directly from the district with a one-time payment. (This option will ensure the best pricing for the recommended device and include 1 year of accidental breakage/theft insurance from the district, renewable each year.)
  • The district will manage all warranty and insurance claims if devices are purchased through the District Purchase Program. 
If you choose not to opt into the program, we will provide your child with a loaner chromebook during the school day. It will need to be checked in and out daily and must stay at school.
