Each time you attend a pro-life event, reflect on your experience using the form linked above.  Your reflection for each event should explain what you learned from your experience(s) and how you will apply your knowledge in Washington, D.C. After completed 5 or more reflections, share your document with Mrs. Thomason. BE SURE to put your name in the document's title. Thank you!

Respect Life Month (October) events are highlighted below:

Oct 6-7 is Lifesaver Sunday weekend

Dubuque County Right to Life distributes lifesavers after Mass and takes donations for DCRTL.  Your job is to let the leaders know you are helping before Mass and get instructions.  You will be standing at various doors while parishioners exit the church.  This will take 15-20 minutes after Mass.  A parent should attend with 8th grade students.

If you can help with one or more time slot, signup here.  Your name will be sent to Mrs. Thomason and she will post it.  If you need to switch your Mass time after it is posted, email Mrs. Thomason.

Here is the schedule from Mothers Day Roses, which also counts as a pro-life event.

Life Chain - October 7, 2018

You do not need to sign up for this event; just come and participate!  Bring your parents and siblings.

Meet at BCHS at 1:50 to pick up a sign.  We will stand along Hwy136 in silent prayer.  Bring a rosary if you would like.  Dress according to the weather.  If you have March for Life shirts/sweatshirts, that would be a good option.

Student Day of Silent Solidarity - Date TBA

See Sra. Koetz for information.

On the Student Day of Silent Solidarity, people from all over this nation will give up their voices for a day in solidarity for these children. Red arm bands and duct tape will identify them as taking part in the Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity. They will carry fliers explaining why they are silent and educate others about the plight of the innocent children we are losing every day.
