NOTE: The driver must be downloaded before the printer is added to your computer. Before downloading the driver, delete any instances of the printer that you may currently have.
TO DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER:
First, confirm that you are connected to the wireless network "BG Wi-Fi Network"
Under Search by Model, enter "5540" into the search field
Under E-Bridge Current Drivers, look for the appropriate driver based on your iOS version - most of us are running 10.7.5 and later, so choose "Mac OSX 10.7.5 and later, Duplex, Color" - no matter which version you are running, always choose Duplex, Color
Click on the "GZ” to the right of the Driver, this will start the download
Now that you’ve downloaded the driver, you need to add the printer to your computer. To do this, go to Applications > System Preferences > Printers & Scanners
Click the "+" (plus) button to add a new printer
Click the IP tab, and enter 192.168.10.18 into the Address field
The Protocol should be set to "Line Printer Daemon - LPD"
In the Queue field, type in “Print”
In the Name field, type in "Toshiba eStudio 5540"
In the Use field select “TOSHIBA ColorMFP-X7”
Click “Add”
TO ADD YOUR PRINTER CODE TO YOUR COMPUTER:
Open the Safari browser
Select File > Print
Under Paper Size and Orientation there is a drop-down box, change it from "Safari" to "Print Mode"
Enter your printer code in the field next to “Department Code”
At the top, choose “Save Current Settings as Preset” and name it “Printer Code”
