We encourage all our agents to create a business page that is separate from your personal Facebook account. A business page is a professional, free, and highly effective way to promote your business on Facebook.
In order to create a business page, you must have a personal Facebook account. Login to your personal Facebook account and follow these steps to set up your business page.
Once logged in to your personal Facebook account, click the Pages header in the left-side navigation
Click Create Page
You'll want to choose Business or Brand as your page category, click Get Started
Enter your Page Name , we suggest using the format of "Your Name, Realtor" ***NOTE: Please DO NOT USE "Bean Group" in your page name as it interferes with the company’s Facebook page***
Type in "Real Estate Agent" in the Category field
In the Address field, enter your affiliated Bean Group office address
In the Phone Number field, enter your cell phone number or other direct number
Here's an example of how this might look at this stage:
Click Continue to create your Business Page! Now that you have created your business page, be sure to upload a professional photo, cover photo, and create a page username.
To add a Picture, click on the camera icon. You may wish to use your professional headshot or a Bean Group logo. Bean Group logos can be downloaded from the shared Agent Resources Google Drive.
To add a Cover photo, click on the camera icon. We suggest uploading a Bean Group branded header, specifically sized for Facebook. These can also be found in the shared Agent Resources Google Drive.
To Create a Page name, click on "Create Page @Username" under your name. This allows you to create a specific URL for your business page.(i.e. www.facebook.com/janedoerealtorbeangroup)
