Please drop off empty water bottles to the art room. We will be creating artwork inspired by one of the ArtPrize entries and we need at least three bottles per 6th grade student.

Here are photos of the artist who has inspired our project.

We took inspiration from the artist above to create our own collaborative 6th grade project.

Students painted bottles with bright vibrant colors.

Bottles Painted and ready to be cut.

Students cut the bottles into strips and pointed the tips.

Here are the flowers outdoors finished.

We made balls of flowers to hang from the tree. The bright colors have been attracting a lot of attention in our courtyard!

Here is a recent photo of our art. Some of the flowers that were stuck in the ground did not make it through some of the Fall wind storms. The flower balls are still doing well hanging from the tree. I am excited to see what it looks like this Winter!
