6th grade students finished up their two point perspective drawings before winter break. We learned about Surreal characteristics. Things like size exaggerations or unrealistic images that are drawn to look real. We also learned new perspective vocabulary such as horizon line and vanishing points. Colored pencil techniques were practiced and the idea of adding value and blending colors was experimented with.
