I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from The University of Michigan-Flint in 2004. I earned my Master of Arts in Art Education from Western Michigan University in 2010. In addition to teaching at West Middle School, I have also had the privilege to teach Visual Arts classes at Nickels and the High School while working at BCPS. I also work with High School Dual Enrollment students as adjunct faculty for Kendall College of Art and Design and teach Master of Art in Art Education courses for Western Michigan University.
I have been married to my husband since 2004 and we have three awesome cats (Izzo, Moogie, and Ziggy)! We enjoy hiking in the woods and taking many road trips. I enjoy working with every kind of art material, being creative, reading, writing, watching movies/tv, and spending time with my husband, friends, and cats!
This is my husband and me at Peyto Lake in Banff, Canada.
