I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from The University of Michigan-Flint in 2004. I earned my Master of Arts in Art Education from Western Michigan University in 2010. In addition to teaching at West Middle School, I have also had the privilege to teach Visual Arts classes at Nickels and the High School while working at BCPS. I also work with High School Dual Enrollment students as adjunct faculty for Kendall College of Art and Design. I also teach Master of Art in Art Education coursed for Western Michigan University.
I have been married to my husband since 2004 and we have three awesome cats (Izzo, Moogie, and Ziggy)! We enjoy hiking in the woods and taking many road trips. I enjoy working with every kind of art material, being creative, reading, writing, watching movies/tv, and spending time with my husband, friends, and cats!
This is my husband and me at Peyto Lake in Banff, Canada.
