Troutville Elementary School is excited to welcome our students back to school on Thursday August 6, 2015!

Kindergarten Orientation – 2:00 PM

Parents and students are invited to attend a brief informational/welcome session before kindergarten students go with their teachers to visit their new classrooms.  Parents stay behind for more school information while students have a snack and activity with their teacher before parents are shown to their child's classroom where they can meet the teacher.  Following orientation, they are invited to complete open house activities.

New Student Orientation -  3:00 PM

Students and their families attend a welcome session after which they are given a tour of the school and are introduced to their teachers.  Following the tour, they are invited to complete open house activities.

Open House For All Students 2:00 PM  - 6:00 PM

Families are invited to come and pick up class lists, visit classrooms, meet teachers.  Families are encouraged to pick up first day information, fill in first day forms, drop off supplies, and verify transportation information.  Parents may also put money on student lunch accounts and  join our PTA.  Our school nurse will be available for parents who need to complete paperwork and/or drop off medications.
