10/2 - Practice for Friday 10/2 has been cancelled. 

The Gray team game scheduled for Monday 9/28 has been canceled. There will be practice until 5 pm. 

The Gray team game scheduled for Monday 9/21 has been rescheduled for Tuesday 9/22 at 5 pm. There will be practice for everyone until 5. 

The Blue game against Northside for Thursday 9/17 has been rescheduled to Wednesday 9/16.

Sports Pictures will be Sept. 18th during practice. Order forms are being handed out on Sept. 9th, the order forms are to be turned into the photographer on the 18th. 

The Gray game against Roanoke Catholic on 8/31 has been changed to 5:00 pm.

Checks for t-shirt orders are to be made out to Read Mountain Middle School
This was left off of the order form.

The Blue team will not have practice on Tuesday September 8th. 

The members of the Gray team will not have practice on days of the Blue games (Thursdays). 

First day of practice is today August 3rd 3:30-5:30

There will be a football clinic at Lord Botetourt High school for  7th and 8th graders. Thursday July 30th and Friday July 31st 3:30-6pm.

There are two final policy meetings remaining before the start of the season and all athletes along with a parent must attend before the start of the season.
Tuesday July 28th 6pm at Lord Botetourt
Wednesday July 29th 6pm at Central Academy

This summer there will be weightlifting at Lord Botetourt Mon., Wed. and Fridays 4-6. 

Except the weeks of June 29th and July 27th. 

Mandatory student athlete concussion/drug policy meetings for the 2015-16 season 

The mandatory 2015-16 concussion/drug policy meetings for Read Mountain Middle School, Central Academy Middle School, and Lord Botetourt High School will be held on the following dates.

May 11 - @ LBHS -  6:30
May 14 - @ RMMS- 6:00
May 18 - @ RMMS- 5:15
May 20 - @ JRHS - 6:00
July 29 - @ CAMS- 6:00

These meetings are open to all Botetourt County athletes.  The athlete must attend one of these meeting accompanied by a parent or legal guardian before being allowed to begin the first day of sports practice which is August 3.

All athletes must have a current sports physical dated after May 1st in order to be allowed to participate in any activities.  The athlete and a parent must attend a concussion/drug policy meeting (and fill out/turn in the paperwork) before the start of the season. Physicals must be turned into either Coach Yandrick or Mrs. Vickie White.
