Attendance Policy
The following attendance policy applies to the Cavalier Singers ensemble.
Absences for Homework/Clubs/Make-up Work
Each student has up to 5 excused absences for Homework/Clubs/Make-up Work per 9 weeks. In cases of extreme illness that require long periods of missed school, meet with Mr. Bremner to discuss how to make-up work in other classes. Students needing to miss due to a required remediation from another teacher must speak with Mr. Bremner individually.
To have an excused absence for Homework/Clubs/Make-up Work you must notify Mr. Bremner in person or by email the day before the absence and you must complete the form below. Failure to contact and complete the form will result in the absence going to attendance and it will not be excused. Absences for Homework/Clubs will not be granted the week of a performance.

Partial Absence / Tardy
A student who is not ready to begin rehearsal more than 5 minutes late or leaves more than 5 minutes early will receive a Partial Absence for the rehearsal. Three Partial Absences or Tardies equals an absence and requires the completion of a Rehearsal Make-Up Assignment.
