Parent Support

A successful High School Choral Music Program requires a unified vision between the director and parents.  There are many ways that you as parents can be actively involved in the education of your child.  By being involved, it not only demonstrates to your child that you care about them, it also generates initiative and the sense that what they are doing is important.
The following are some ideas how the choirs could use your help.  Please contact Mr. Bremner if you are able to help!

  • Accompanist for choir
  • Supervision - before or after concert, or backstage
  • Lighting - Sound Assistance
  • Uniform Upkeep - hemming, alterations, mending

  • Assist in or be in charge of fundraising events - car washes, donut sales, etc.
  • Have ideas of fundraisers to help fund and build the choir program
  • Assist with donations at concerts

  • Local trips during the school day
  • Possible overnight trips to District Chorus or Festival Competitions

  • Anything not mentioned that you would like to do…
