Building Trades is a two-year program designed to develop skills and training in carpentry, masonry, residential wiring, and plumbing. Students learn to use, care for, and safely handle tools, machines, equipment, and materials commonly used in all building trades areas. There is a $35 materials fee for the first-year course and a $20 materials fee for the second-year course. However, this may be waived based on student need. At the conclusion of the second year of this program, the student will be expected to take a certification or credentialing test.
