Credentialing in CTE

CTE students identified as a completer (successfully completed two sequential electives within a program area), are required to take an external examination that tests their technical and/or workplace readiness skills.  When a student passes the exam, in addition to the certificate or license earned, a credential is awarded.

Credentials boost resumes!  Students will stand out in today's competitive job market.

All 7th graders will begin an Academic Career Plan (ACP) which will serve as a resource for course registration throughout their high school career.  The ACP is updated before their 9th grade year and again before their 11th grade year.  Students are encouraged to access their ACP frequently and update it as opportunities allow.  For more information about the Academic Career Plan see the Resources section of this website.
