Catering/Dining Event Planning Checklist

1. Dining Services operates Monday – Friday 7:00am – 8:00pm.
Staff can be available on weekends or late evening (after 8:00pm) with prior notice.
The over-time cost occurring will be charged to your event.

2. Pot Luck Recommendations

The best idea is to have foods that can be served either cold, room temperature (Quiche, salads, antipasti or sliced meats -beef or turkey). Request that guest plan to preheat any hot food items before delivery to your event.

Confirm plans with your parent volunteers so food donations provide you all the foods you need for a pot luck dinner. Ensure you're getting a variety of meats, salads and desserts. Avoid getting all salads but no entrees? It's happened in the past. You should request a kitchen staff helper on your "Event Request Form" if you'll be relying on help to get things heated and set up for the pot luck.

If you require help from the kitchen, request help on the Event Request Form. You may order paper goods, serving utensils, trays, etc. from the kitchen on our event form linked below. Complete details about our catering services are available in our catering packet.

The event coordinators, parents should be sure to take their supplies and items home with them. DO NOT LEAVE DISHES OR TRAYS AT SCHOOL. Dining Services can be scheduled to clean up, however there is an additional labor charge if the kitchen is asked to stay after 8:00pm for any catering event.

Personal dishes, bowls or trays should be taken home at the end of the pot luck. The reception desk in the front lobby is the drop off location for any left over items.

3. School Activities / Events for students –

The school is now dedicated to reducing the exposure of high sugar and caffeine drinks to our students. The school food service department will not provide any soda or caffeine drinks to the students.
Please serve sparkling water, juices and spring water instead.

We have reduced the use of all plastic water bottles. Spring water is served from a dispenser and plastic cups should be recycled when used.
