Ms. Rowen

Daybreak Middle School

Welcome Note

I had over 30 years experience as a mental health counselor in a variety of settings.  Seven years ago I had a strong desire to work again in education. I believe that the greatest impact I can make on our society is as an educator influencing the next generation of leaders.  I have a passion to help alleviate academic, social and psychological barriers hindering students to fulfill their potential. We work collaboratively at Daybreak to ensure that your child has the best opportunities to succeed as a student and young adult.  Please let me know if there is anything we can do to advocate for your child.

I will be adding information, resources and posts to this website, so please check back on occasion.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at (360) 885-6905 or by email: rowen.michelle@battlegroundps.org

I was born in Espanola, New Mexico and grew up in Vancouver. I have worked as a teacher and counselor in several different settings from community mental health center, private practice and residential programs.I love to teach and can not think of anything more important than seeing students conquer obstacles hindering their life long successes. I am involved in my Church, love the beach and am an unashamed Disneyland addict.
