Biography

With a Masters in Teaching from Washington State University, Ms. Bachman began her education career at Amboy Middle School, student teaching in 1996. She subbed for 1 year before coming to Laurin full time. Ms. Bachman has taught on the fifth and seventh grade teams at Laurin. In addition to core curriculum, each year Ms. Bachman taught a visual arts elective to Laurin students. In the fall of 2008, Ms. Bachman developed the Laurin Art Department and has taught visual arts Grades 5 - 8 exclusively ever since. In the spring, Ms. Bachman is the choreographer and Advisor for Laurin's Drill Team. In her spare time, Ms. Bachman plays and coaches indoor and outdoor soccer and enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her niece.
