Welcome to the Conners Emerson PTSA site
The PTSA Bylaws!
Wednesday - April 29, 2015 * Emerson Cafeteria * 5:00 – 6:00PM
The Conners Emerson PTSA invites all students in grades K-5 to participate in this fun and educational event! This is a science fair and not a competition. Each entry will receive a certificate of participation and an opportunity to do a live demonstration. Students from 7th and 8th grade have visited each class and proven just how exciting and easy science can be. The PTSA has provided a list of resources to help you get started (please see below). Choose a topic with your family that interests you and find an activity/experiment to go with it. All projects are to be completed outside of school. Please include a brief summary and/or procedure used to prove your scientific principle. Displays are to be brought to the school anytime after 4:30PM the day of the fair. Projects will be given a 3 ft. x 2 ft. space unless prior arrangements have been made.
Your safety, and that of the community, is the number one priority. With that in mind, please do not include the use of projectiles, explosives, or caustic chemicals in your experiments.
Please complete the bottom portion of this form and return it to Sheila Hamblen in the Conners office by Monday, April 13, 2015.
If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Stone (email@example.com) or Edith Schriever-Korstanje (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We hope to see you all at the SCIENCE FAIR! (Check out the back of this page for resources)

My name is Edith Schriever-Korstanje and I am the Treasurer for the PTSA. As of now, our school will be participating in the Box Tops for Education™ program. Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school buy what it needs. Box Tops are each worth 10¢ and they quickly add up to real cash for our school. This school year, our school’s earnings goal is $500.
To help our school, just look for pink Box Tops on products, clip them, and send them to school. For more information on the Box Tops for Education program, including a list of participating products and our school’s progress, visit www.BTFE.com. Be sure to become a member to receive exclusive coupons and recipes and learn about extra ways for our school to earn.
I hope you’re excited for everything we can do this year with Box Tops! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
I’m here to make our school’s Box Tops for Education program a huge success this year. Thanks for your help!
Good news: the PTSA will start collecting Box Tops for Education. You can find Boxtops on various products and collecting these will be easier than ever: just tape (never staple!) the boxtops to the fun collection sheets that will be provided to your child. Each boxtop is worth 10 cents and as you can imagine, this may add up! So start clipping and collecting for fun stuff for the school! More informations on this website:
