Barfoote Construction are on an upward move as plenty of work in the heavy commercial and agricultural sectors of the building industry is coming our way. We are currently looking for skilled, experienced and qualified tradespersons who are keen to join our teams.
These roles will see you will have an input into the requirements of projects scope whether it be a bridge, swimming pool, cowshed, precast paneling, and the list goes on.
Main responsibilities
Work as a team within the team to meet the project targets of time and cost efficiencies
Comply with quality assurance requirements, carry out checks and raise any issues
Work closely with all site staff and contractors to develop a detailed understanding of task requirements
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements as directed
Skills & experience required
Experience in the construction industry
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
An expert at time management – on time every time
Full clean driving licence – Class 2 is a real advantage
Demonstrate a high-quality level of workmanship and attention to detail
Leadership roles must be familiar with NZ Construction Standards and have the ability to interpret plans and drawings. You will also be able to comply with Local Bylaws and consent processes.
