HI! I'm Wendy Jensen and I'm excited to begin another year in 2nd Grade at Ballard West Elementary!

My Education

I grew up in Earlham, Iowa and went on to graduate from Iowa State University. In 2005, I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Viterbo University.

Teaching Experience

Before landing at Ballard West, I taught in

Guthrie Center, Iowa (Title 1 Reading),

Independence, Missouri (2nd Grade), and

West Des Moines, Iowa. (3rd Grade)

Family Life

I live in Huxley with my husband Eric and our two daughters Hannah and Emma. We all live with a spoiled Springer Spaniel named Cooper.
