Bio:  Hi,  I'm Mrs. Licht and I am currently the Vocal Music Teacher at West Elementary for the Early Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades. Over the years I have taught vocal music at every grade level in the Ballard District. As the Ballard school has grown, my position has changed from being at the JH/HS to the East and West buildings (with all the K-6 grades) to my position now. Every grade level is special in their abilities and it is a pleasure to work with Ballard students and give them a beginning in exploring the musical world around them and within them.

  Adding to my great foundation in Music Education,  my degree programs at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge and then Drake University, where I completed my Music Education Degree as a piano major and a voice minor, gave me a wide variety of musical styles and avenues to develop as a musician.
