I grew up in Bellevue Iowa and moved to central Iowa in 1986. I earned a BA from Iowa State University in English Education in 1991 and my MS in Counselor Education in 1998. I began my teaching career at Ballard High School in the Success Center and have worked as the high school guidance counselor since 1998.
