Welcome

My name is Barb Baumgardner and I am member of the Social Studies Department at Ballard High School. I teach United States Government, Economics, and World History. I also coach volleyball at Ballard Middle School.

I graduated with my B.A. in history and coaching from Simpson College in Indianola in 2002. I took additional courses from Buena Vista University to receive my all social studies endorsement.

I taught one year at Northeast Hamilton and have been a Ballard employee since 2003.

My husband, Mark, and I live in the Ballard community with our two daughters. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Bombers.
