NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2014-2015 BACHA EXECUTIVE BOARD!!
Nominations (self-nominations are encouraged) should be 300 words or less and should be emailed to Brian Burnham at email@example.com. Your nomination should include past experience with BACHA and the individuals desire and commitment to fill the position. Please include title of nominee, home institution and contact information.
The following positions are open for 2014-2015:
President Elect (3 year term)
Must have served at least 1 year on the steering board, past or present.
Serves as acting President in the President’s absence. The President Elect will coordinate the annual awards process and will serve as a member of the New Professionals Workshop planning team. This position requires a three year commitment; one as president-elect, one as president, and one as past president.
Treasurer (2 year term)
Maintains the financial data for BACHA's operating budget. Assists Steering Committee members with financials for their respective tasks and responsibilities. Helpful if nominee has a love for detail and knowledge of money management.
Technology Coordinator (2 year term)
The Technology Coordinator is expected to act as the liaison between outside web vendors and BACHA, to update the website in a timely manner so as to keep all information current, to assist with conferences via the website as a tool for the conferences, to update the Steering Committee of any changes that may apply to the website construction or maintenance, to maintain online file sharing system and bacha.org email addresses, support Steering Board members in technology related projects.
New Professionals Liaison (2 year term)
Responsible for the New Professional Workshop held each year in August as well as represents BACHA at the All of the Above conference typically held in February. May assist in co-sponsored events with other professional organizations.
Member at Large (1 position) (2 year term)
Coordinator of Media & Marketing
Responsible for promoting BACHA and assisting board members in marketing BACHA events. Create and distribute BACHA newsletters. Keep membership informed through social media.
