A new functionality is developed that will allow the operator to disable customer access to the End User Portal which works of the status they were changed to.
Reported use case:
A customer ends service and is changed to status Disconnected. Status Disconnected is configured to disable access to the End User Portal, which therefor block access to their online account.
The option to enable/ disable the EUP can be selected for each customer status. Action will happen only on status change. Therefor changing this option will NOT affect customers that currently are under the 'Disconnected' status.
To make use of this feature:
1. Proceed to Customer Statuses page - fig.1. This is accessible from Settings tab.
Fig 1: Settings tab > Customer Statuses
2. Find the status(es) which should enable or disable access to the EUP. In this scenario it will be for the Disconnected status. Tick the End User Portal box - see orange box in Fig.2.
Select Update Table to save the changes.
Fig 2: Tick the box to enable/ disable the EUP
Additional notes:
If both options are empty - SIMPLer will default to the defined settings under SPID.
if both are selected it will 'flip' what the option is currently set to i.e. if enable it will disable, if disabled it will enable.
