A new functionality is added that will auto generate a unique code for each customer account. This referral code is random and does not contain any information such as name or account id.
The referral code can easily be allocated by performing a search on the Customer Search Page.
To make use of this feature:
1. Create a custom field . The format makes use of randomized digits + lowercase letters. In the next example the length is set to 8. Fig. 1.
