Eric Landon, CTRS, TRS

Eric Landon graduated in Rec. Management/ Youth Leadership with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.   For nearly 24 years Eric has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse, working with both youth and adults.  This has included diverse leadership positions along the way.   April through August of 2013 Eric was the Associate Program Director of a Proctor Agency in American Fork.  Eric has primarily worked with Valley Mental Health and Provo Canyon School as a Rec. Therapist.  While at VMH he spent his time working with clients in residential and day treatment settings.  His last position at Valley Mental Health was on the Executive Leadership Team as the Client Advocate/Staff Liaison giving him vast insight to how state and local government correspond with agencies regarding mental health and substance abuse.


Both Eric and Judy started working on establishing A.V.Y Counseling in early August 2013 and are driven to provide excellent quality care.

Bob comes to us with many years of experience and is talented in getting others to laugh and see things in a different way. His insights and inspiration are easy to adapt and apply to personal growth for optimal change.  With over 50 fishing rods and reals, there's no doubt that Bob loves to fish.  Expect to hear a fish story or two along the way.

Judy Runolfson started working as a Youth Dorm Supervisor at the Utah State Hospital and then progressed in working with youth for more than 35 years.  Additional positions included teaching art and an Assistant Principalships.  During this time she received her counseling masters degree from University of Phoenix and graduated as the Graduate of Distinction, she received her master's certification in school administration from Brigham Young University and finished her educational endeavors with her Ed.D. from Brigham Young University.  Her work has allowed her to deal with the vast behavioral challenges that come with students and adults from different backgrounds. During her extensive service as an assistant principal Judy was the L.E.A. for the Resource Department within the schools.  In every school she worked she became the supervisor over the Counseling Department.  After retiring from the schools, Judy worked for a proctor agency as a Program Director in American Fork from April to August of 2013.  Since then she has worked as one of the owners here at A.V.Y Counseling Services.

I have many years of life's wisdom and l enjoy assisting others in creating the life that they want. We all have our own journeys and mountains to climb. I have 5 great children with 15 grandchildren that I adore and look forward to the time I get to spend with them. I enjoy music, singing, the outdoors and exploring new things.




Kip Rasmussen, Ph.D,

Kip Rasmussen graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1988, received his Masters in Family Science from Texas Tech University in 1990, and earned his PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University in 1994. Most of his career has been dedicated to working with and helping with both male and female teens. He has particular interest in family process and parenting practices and has published articles in both professional journals and popular magazines on the subject. He is also the author of The Frogbuster: A Girl’s Guide to the Dating Swamp.









Kaitlyn Lindsey

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Orem, UT. She will soon graduate from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's in therapeutic recreation. She hopes to become a Recreational Therapist following graduation. Kaitlyn enjoys working in special populations. She also enjoys acrobatics as a hobby and even helped run a circus camp for children with disabilities. 




Tanner Reber

Tanner started working with us in January of this year. He moved to Utah from Arizona to attend school at Utah Valley University. He is studying marketing, and planning on attending law school after obtaining his Bachelors degree. Tanner loves to be active, often playing basketball and going to Park City to Snowboard. He has been enjoying the experience of visiting the courts. He is always eager to meet new people and is quick to build friendships with them.
