START HERE:  1. Chemical Compounds - Using the ball-stick organic modeling kits, create several molecules for your notebook. 


2. How did you make each of the chemicals? 



3. Homework:  Cornell Method for Note-taking

- Read "Biological Molecules" from the Concepts of Biology text  

- Make two columns on a new notebook page. The left column should be 1/3 wide and the right column 2/3 wide. Add notes from the reading to the main section of the notes (as if you were in class).

- Take notes from the text on the right-sided column 

Homework:  Continue to read about "Biological Molecules" and taking notes using the Cornell Note-taking method. Add notes from the reading to the main section of the notes (as if you were in class).
