At Avondale Virtual Academy, students are assigned classes through the Edgenuity Program where they work independently in our state-of-the-art facility.

Mentor teachers meet with every student at least once each week to monitor progress and offer academic support and assistance.

Students also receive college and career counseling, participate in FAFSA Information Night, College Application Week, and College Decision Day (as part of Reach Higher).

Guidance counselors are also available to virtual education students to discuss non-academic concerns.
 Avondale Virtual Academy
is an option for students who:

are home-bound
in need of credit recovery
have a special need or
are at-risk of not graduating high school

and who:

have dreams of earning a high school diploma
wish to pursue post-secondary education
would like to receive technical or trade school training

The online learner is motivated, disciplined, and most importantly, understands the value of a high school diploma.
