Big images will slow your site down. To compress them follow these directions:
- For Windows
A: Right Click on Image and Open with WINDOWS PICTURE MANAGER
B: Chose Picture -- Compress Picture -- For Web
C: Upload Picture to your website
- For Macs
A: Control/Click on the Image
B: Open with Preview
C: Choose Tools --Adjust Size of the image to desired size usually 300x200 or 640x480
D: File -- Save As (adjust size to under 100kb)
