Instructor Bio
Bonnie Spanogle is the District Marketing Manager at Austin Community College.
An expert in Austin media and creative street-level promotion, she is responsible for the non-profit college's advertising and wears many hats, including budget planner and media buyer, content strategist, SEM manager, logistics consultant, contracts-and-jargon translator and logo cop. She also manages trademarks, brand standards and merchandise licensing for the ACC District.

Bonnie loves learning and solving problems while working with small businesses, non-profits and creative people.
"Teaching classes through ACC Continuing Education allows me to do all of those things at once," she says, "and I strongly believe that Austin's small businesses keep our city liveable, unique, and connected".
Ms. Spanogle joined the staff of Austin Community College in 2001 while taking a break from an exciting yet under-insured career in the music business. ACC exemplifies the Austin spirit, and is the original home of Keep Austin Weird*...
so she stayed.
Drawing from a wealth of experience in different roles and industries, her background allows her to combine university-level theory and practical examples into short courses that fit your schedule.
Specialties include writing and branding, marketing strategy and planning, event production, contract negotiation, creative business analysis and general troubleshooting.
Previous job titles have included Regional Sales Manager, Publicist, Media Director, Art Director, Buyer, and Payroll Manager. Bonnie has worked as a freelance writer, market researcher and small business advisor, band manager, agent, and concert production manager.
