Module 3: Support Roles

  • Student Support Specialist - the support specialist provides direct, comprehensive program guidance to assigned individuals. They will assist students in accessing learning resources and tutoring, and maintain regular intervals of communication with students as agreed upon.

  • APT Outreach & Student Support Coordinators- 

    • The first point of contact many of our students make. They help you navigate the enrollment and orientation processes.   
  • Faculty - Will post their office hours and contact information under Announcements  on the landing page of Blackboard;  some faculty will offer to meet with you using Adobe Connect ™ or another video conferencing tool, and email will always remain an option.  In addition, your instructor may elect to set up group forums to encourage helpful discussion among participants.
