August 28, 2018 City of Austin: Marketing your Certification 

As adopted December 2014, ACC’s Board of Trustees established the Small Business Development Program (SBDP) to encourage increased participation of small, local and emerging businesses in purchasing and contracting opportunities offered by Austin Community College District (ACC).

The information provided below is designed to help vendors understand requirements, qualifications, and the application process for SBDP participation.


Monthly Vendor Meetings:
Procurement and Materials Management (PMM) is providing vendors the opportunity to meet with the Purchasing team. PMM will hold monthly vendor meetings, vendors will be given 30 minutes to present their goods/services to a member of the purchasing team. These meetings will be scheduled in the morning (8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) and vendors must adhere to the 30 minute time limit.
