CEO

Jay Chung

Jay Chung is the CEO of Atto Research, an IT startup specialized in ultra low latency network data processing technology. He was a research scientist at Intel, working on a next generation Intel architecture and heterogeneous computing from 2010 to 2012. He worked on AMD64 extension for parallel programming, many-core processor design for cloud computing, and die stacking at AMD from 2008 to 2010. His research interest includes transactional memory, parallel programming, and chip multiprocessor design. He received Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2008. He received M.S. and B.S. from Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1999 and 1997. He worked for Samsung from 1999 to 2000 and for Tmaxsoft, a startup company, from 2001 to 2004. 


President, Korea

Jinchan Kil

Jinchan is the president. He covers sales, marketing and administration. He has worked in companies that are related to H/W and S/W and he has also worked from sales rep. to country manager at HP, Oracle (former BEA), and SAP (former Business Objects).





CTO
Yongjin Choi
 
Yongjin, the CTO of Atto Research, specializes in developing system software for high performance computing. He was the leader of data infrastructure team at NCsoft, where he developed a big-data processing platform for interactive analysis over a few petabytes game log stored in hundreds of servers. Prior to that, he was a senior researcher at TmaxSoft from 2006 to 2010, working on enterprise middleware and solutions. He also developed cache, transaction, recovery, replication and shared-cache cluster of database at that company. He received Ph.D. from Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2006.
