Disabilty Requests & Technical Standards

Are you interested in requesting accommodations for a physical, learning or psychological disability?  If so, please contact Tim Tucker, Director of Learning Enrichment for ATSU.  Tim's office is located on the Missouri Campus; however, he provides service to all students of the institution.  Tim will need a written request outlining the specific accommodations you are seeking along with documentation of your disability from a qualified professional and the following forms which may be downloaded from below:
  • Reception Form
  • Release of Information Form
  • Student Resources Intake Form
After receiving all required documentation, Tim will submit the request to the Technical Standards and Accommodations Committee for review and approval.  The process of reviewing a request can take several weeks depending on the quality of the documentation of the disability.  Making a request for accommodations does not guarantee that accommodations will be provided and receiving accommodations at ATSU does not guarantee a student will receive accommodations for any licensing or board exams required by their specific profession.
If you would like more information on the application process, contact Art Matthews, Counselor for the AZ Campus.
