Health Alert:
In the past, college campuses in New Jersey and different states  have been affected by the norovirus, which has  led to campus closures.  Norovirus causes gastroenteritis which includes symptoms of nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea which  last for 1-3 days or longer . It can also include low-grade fever and body aches.

If you have any of these symptoms, contact your physician and do not come to campus.  Bring a Doctor's note stating when it was advised to return.

The most effective way to stop the spread of infection is through handwashing. Studies show that improved hand hygiene and surface disinfection can lead to lower rates of absenteeism. Wash hands frequently! Use soap and water when possible, and hand  sanitizers  if soap and water is not available.
