Taking the SBAC Summative TestThe video to watch so you know how to guide your students in logging into the SBAC system to take a summative test.

*To turn off the pop-up blocker in Chrome, look for an icon in the address bar with a red X. Click on it and select "always allow." Then you must reload the page (icon is to the left of the house that is left of the address bar). 

Tools Used in the Test

Global Tools - This screencast explains how to use SBAC tools that are available to all students.

General Tools - Text editor, highlight text, glossary
*Students can only use Spanish in the text editor on math tests, not ELA.

Context Menu Tools - Tutorials, notepad, mark for review, strikethrough

SBAC Math Tools - Equation editor, drawing tools, calculator, bar graphs, drag and drop
*The calculators have been changed to the Desmos versions. Students can practice using the new calculators with the link on their grade level pages.

Bilingual Student Supports - Explains supports available for English learners

SBAC Accommodations and Designated Supports -  This video describes specific supports available for students with or without an IEP or 504.

Speech to Text - How to set-up and use

Unlisted Supports -  This video describes unlisted supports available only for IEP and 504 students.
