The Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill is a primary care office that provides a full scope of family medicine including pediatric, adolescent, adult, gynecologic, obstetric and hospital care. The vision of the physicians and staff is to continue to provide high-quality personal health care to individuals and families even while the medical environment around us is changing rapidly. Everyone at Asylum Hill recognizes that while the medical system may change, the special doctor-patient relationship does not change, is of primary importance and must remain strong.

The Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill is the outpatient site of the University of Connecticut residency training program in Family Medicine. The senior physicians at the practice are all hold faculty appointments at the university and are also Board-certified in Family Medicine.
The Family Medicine Center also has a relationship with St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center which is located right across the street. The close proximity of the office to the hospital allows the physicians at the Center to care for hospitalized patients easily .

New Patients
The Family Medicine Center is accepting new patients of all ages. If you or a family member would like to become a patient at our practice, please call the office (860-714-4212) to make an appointment. Our front office staff will assist you. We do have some bilingual physicians and staff members to more readily care for our Spanish-speaking patients.

The Family Medicine Center is proud to be recognized as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)

The PCMH is a way of organizing primary care coordination and communication to transform primary care to "what patients want it to be." Medical homes can improve patients' and providers' experience of care.
